Greetings from the Organizing Committee, RSSDI-2013.

It is a privilege and honour to extend a cordial invitation and warm welcome to all of you in the medical fraternity to attend the 41st Annual Scientific Meeting for Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India, scheduled to be held on November 8-10, 2013.

As you are aware that India, South Asia and the world is facing a major challenge of diabetes and there is a constant need to keep abreast of latest developments in this field, so that we can be empowered to meet this challenge effectively.

RSSDI Annual Scientific Meetings provide a wonderful opportunity to all of us, to meet and interact with each other and share our research, knowledge and clinical experience in all facets of diabetes care. RSSDI-2013 will be yet another enriching scientific experience, where we shall strive hard to meet the expectations of clinicians and researchers alike. Please join this scientific feast through which we will attempt to bridge the gap between the bench and the bedside and between contemporary knowledge and exciting new vistas that would help translate all recent advances in diabetes research to provide better diabetes care.

This conference is an excellent opportunity for your faculty and residents to showcase their original research work.

We would like to request you to encourage your faculty and residents to submit abstracts for this conference.

In order to encourage participation by young researchers, RSSDI would be awarding limited number of Travel Grants to delegates whose abstracts are accepted, on first come first serve basis. Details of Travel Grants are available on the conference website.

The last date for submission of abstracts is July 31, 2013.

Delegates whose abstracts are accepted, will be entitled to register at a special rate of Rs.5000/-.

We are sending five copies of the First Announcement Brochure, abstract form and scientific highlights of RSSDI-2013. May we request you if you could please have these brochures displayed on the notice board of your college/department.
